An Affordable WatchCrunch Watch!

How would the community respond to @Max finding a way to collaborate with someone like Long Island watch to create a dive watch that can be reached by almost every enthusiast (sub $200) on WatchCrunch to add to the community connection.

All styles of collectors from all walks of life having this one watch in common in their Watch Box to remind them of their favorite watch forum!

I know this is much easier said than done but I think it’s worth poking the bear to see if this is even possible.

The GMT Release was amazing but I think maybe a bit out of reach for most enthusiasts in price.

Worse case scenario if @Max tells us this can’t happen maybe we can all vote on a watch that would be symbolized as a community united choice and have fun with ideas like WC watch month and only wear that for the month of.

(((((Example))))))

It would be nice to have a WC edition Casio F-91W or 34mm Swatch, but the big boys won't do that and neither will the knock-offs. Thus we'd be stuck with another generic diver, as everybody and their mother can cobble those together from seemingly endless supplies of dive watch parts.

Hey you never know. Maybe @Max can network and pull some heavy strings to get one of the big dog companies to play ball. Call up omega and swatch to make a moon swatch with a green bezel black face moonswatch and call it Planet X 😆

There always thirsty for a new release

It’s a great idea, maybe somebody like mark at Long Island watch could do something like this. It would have to be pretty unique though as I think the SKX case design is a bit over used. The Duro isn’t a bad idea either, possibly a moded f91 or g shock?

·

I like this idea. 👍

Awesome idea! A collab with Mark would be the "cat's ass" (translation from the Kanuckian language = AWESOME!)

please keep us posted!

A simple design dress watch (think Bambino) with the seconds hand in WC green

I would be down for that too

I’m a sucker for a diver but not picky at all. I like to own a little bit of everything as I can utilize all occasions between my personal and professional life style.

Will do brother. I’m crossing my fingers Max response to this if enough people engage and respond with support. Maybe I’ll send this post directly to him after 24 hrs of response. Appreciate your support brother.

The possibilities are endless. I’m just planting the seed here hope it will grow and flourish. I would take any design as long as it is done well and is heavy on the WC logo

It would be cool if someone who reads this post that is good at doing renders do a mock up job of a WC watch.

Thank you for your input Tudorman67!

I’m with @SpecKTator. I’d vote an Islander 38mm Brookville. The grey sunburst dial with the aforementioned WC green seconds hand would get my $$$!

·

I mean if it looks good people are gonna buy it. It mostly depends on that.

Assuming they see it and the price is good for them.

I’m all for what ever is cleaver. I just want a WC timepiece!

Yea looks good but at least slap a reliable inexpensive movement like an NH35.

·

That would be awesome. I like the idea of a little bambino type thing

I hadn't seen the Brookville before. That's a nice looking watch! 👌

Imagine that with a green dial 😍

Yeah it’s one I’ve been eyeing for a while. If I find myself in need of a dressier daily driver, I’ll probably pick it up.

You know, I've been talking to @Wes_nodus and Marc at Long Island about doing something together 😉

I had such a crappy day today.

You Literally Just made my day bro!

Please do your best to make it happen. Owning a watch that is born from a community forum as such is a dream come true for my collection. 🤞🏾😬🤞🏾

Max confirmed he is trying in the comments!

·

You already know what brand I'm choosing 😉

The first watch was an American micro with Jack Mason, we gotta keep that trend. Invision a Aragon DiveMaster 40 GMT with the WC color way

Definitely in the price range
