Thought I would give some thoughts after three days on the wrist. I sold three watches, took some cash out and spent a portion on this. You just can’t get better polish work than this! The polished bezel is incredible in person. You see you eyeball in the Lupe when you look straight at it. Black polish on all three hands and indices! Really incredible attention to detail and quality everywhere!
The crown is well designed and the movement is super pleasing to wind. Finish on movement is utilitarian but the brush work is well done the blue and pushed screws are perfect, Even the gears have obviously well done blast finished work. Everything is well done.
It’s running a tad slow -5 per day. I’m hoping it gets a little better as I wear it. And it’s hard to time it due to the second counter. It’s pointless but I already had someone notice it and ask about it so that’s sort of cool. It’s a flashy watch on bracket anyway so I think it suits it.
The bracelet is top notch. Different style but equal in quality and finish work to the GP Laureato I had tried on a few times considering it. The rubber strap is of good quality, and the deployment on it is nearly better than the bractet. However it’s hot! 70 degree day and my wrist was sweating. I live in Charleston sc btw….. while the bracelet is amazing it’s a scratch monster! So flaws with both options there. And those are the only two options…….
Over all it’s gorgeous. The dial is interesting and obviously of high quality, my person favorite hands and indecies in the industry but that’s just my bias. After owning a prx and a CW Telve I feel this is honestly worth the extra money and on par with GP laureato and iwc ingenieur for less than half the cost new with box and papers. If you’re in the market for an amazing eye catching integrated steel sports watch and a base movement and 7/10 finish work or worse won’t cut it, I can’t see how you could do better than the Defy Skyline, drawbacks and all.

Your watch's bigger brother. Amazing polish, amazing fit and finish. originally bought it on the leather, then bought a rubber strap and eventually picked up the bracelet. Never had an issue with lack of micro adjustment but then again, I am not a particular nut of tight fits. It fits adequately and I wear it year round. I don't find the bracelet all that much of a scratch magnet to be honest. I had an issue with the chronograph and the movement dropping off power reserve on day 2 but I had it serviced under warranty and we're good now )
Enjoy man. I traded mine a few days ago. Loved it. But the bracelet is not comfortable all the time. No half links and no micro adjustment

And btw, you have one of the best collections I’ve ever seen! High praise to zenith if this is the watch you wear the most.

I think virtually that’s my favorite movement of the last five years or so.
Many thanks. The blue dial is next on my list.
Fantastic choice and I love a good review. Zenith is the top of my wish list
Zenith is making amazing watches. Fantastic value!
Nice review! I love my Defy too and find myself longing for this watch quite a lot. It has a distinct look and you don’t see many people wearing it, which I appreciate. The rubber strap I use for whenever I might risk scratching the steel bracelet 😬
Very nice watch! One of my favorites from #zenith great review!
