Protrek strap swap

I bought this Casio Protrek (PRG 550-1A1) 7 years ago, its used almost every weekend. Hiking, camping, even in winter I love it for temperature measurement during nights out.

Original strap is alright, looks great with the watch but I got bored and wanted to change it a bit just for fun. Placed it on Cordura with lather backing. It doesn't fit great visually, but its super comfortable.

What do You think, how long does this strap have, before rubber comes back on? :D

30.5 days is the O/U

I prefer the softest nato straps i could find and just wash them regularly. They fray around the buckle holes being softer but the comfort is worth it. Its worth it when your watch does not remind you its there. Casio rules.

:) not long prediction, but I tend to get this one dirty, so 30days can be truth.

I was scared of nato strap going under and rising this huge watch even further up. But I agree nato would suit it more.

I like that strap a lot. Will look cooler once it frays a little too.
