Something different....

So my nephews have been getting my "moving on" watches like the many Orient mods I've done. He brought me the Ray2 for some TLC and I decided to do something different. As many may know, if you don't here you go, getting a bezel insert that lines up all the time is like winning the lottery. The solution?? Flip it, Buff it, Rub it down!!!!Ooh Nooooooooo!!!

O yeah, I had to remove the pip and re-install it on the reverse. Perfect 👌

Interesting, I hadn’t thought of that. I know there are tons of aftermarket bezel inserts for Seiko watches, I assume the same is true for Orient. While that’s an easy solution, it bothers me that it’s even needed.

Yeah, sometimes you'll find bad chapter ring or indecise alignment that make it impossible to align but usually it's the print on the insert that's just off enough to drive you insane!!

That aren't all like this. I was surprised how this one lined up just about perfectly
