Here is my eclectic watch collection-

Omega Geneve, Oris Miles Tonneau, Omega Speedmaster,Oris Heritage 65, Maurice lacroix milestone, Seiko SPB147, Omega Polaris , Omega Polaris multifunction,Gucci 9000, Oris date , Tag F1 , Tag 200 professional

What do you think ? I admit I like a smaller 80s classic - i pretty much like them all but unsure of the Oris 65 and the Seiko and might sell so they get the wrist time they deserve - but … where to go next ?

My favourite of those is the Oris date in the bottom row. The dial is so clean looking, and the date is in the right place.

Nice collection!

·

Great collection. I don’t know what you could add to make this better.

·

Lots of steel bracelets and not enough leather

·

Very cool and varied collection of timepieces! Well done sir! 👍

·

Very nice! My favourites are the two Omega Polarises, which I think have such a cool design with the whole bimetal thing that they have, and that TAG Heuer Formula 1, which I have an inexplicable soft spot for.

I can’t tell you how much I love the Polaris range - they feel so correct on the wrist - amazing and underrated and very 80s

Thank you !

It’s my little Rolex explorer - I love it

Maybe swap out a couple ? - I don’t know - I do really enjoy most of them

I really love their retro design. The digital is even more interesting to me, because it comes from an era where luxury brands were experimenting with LCD, when it was still a new, space-age technology.

Blue dial watch , more leather ( Brown for the blue) , and a couple of natos ( white dials are strap monsters ). Nice collection.

Nice collection! The Oris Heritage 65 definitely has been on my radar.

It’s very well made and the black dial version is classy - I should make an effort and wear it more

OMG that Omega Geneve makes me want to go out and buy my own right now.

Many years ago a friend of my dads - who oozed 70s fashion had one and I guess it’s the nostalgia but I finally tracked one down a while ago - sunburst dial and everything- I adore it and wear it often , when I feel I have to get the gold on !

Great collection, I love how Seiko managed to squeeze itself in there 💪🏻.

I can’t really think of a watch that would make this more complete really. You’ve got everything covered

Thanks man ! - yep always had a seiko - just live the versatility and I have to say - I’m pretty apprehensive about wearing the moonwatch at times - it’s so expensive !

A nice collection for sure. Where to go next, there are a lot of vintage-insired modern watches now.

Some fantastic pieces around - maybe a BB58? - but I have the seiko ! 😂

Seikos are man's best friends! And the moonwatches stay intact and the owner stress free 👌

Don’t change a thing! Just follow your own instincts. I am an older guy, turning 72 in July so quite a few younger collectors who know I have been messing with timepieces for decades and decades come to me for some guidance. I knew a brilliant young man involved in sales who collected vintage Seiko watches that he wore with colourful nato, fabric straps many years before the trend for older Seiko and fun straps was hip. We met when he was working in a Prada boutique here in Toronto which explains his strong sense of fashion and design but I have different taste or imperatives in my own watch journey, did not want to interfere but might have said perhaps buy less, save for 1 or 2 current production watches that he can wear carelessly. A few months later he was happily wearing some entry level Bell & Ross watch fitted to the distinctive rubber strap which is a terrific watch but not nearly as interesting as the handful of vintage Seikos that he sold to finance his new watch. I hear that he is now selling high value real estate so he is probably wearing his dream watch: rose gold Patek perpetual calendar Moonphase circa 1960s.

thanks - and there’s the issue - I look at most modern watches and think they are ‘soulless’ - give me a 1970 diver , over any of the modern iterations these days - I guess it’s the story behind the dial - we’ll see …

It's a nice, well curated, collection. I'd suggest some color, like Oris Big Crown (so many colors to choose from) or Anordain (killer fume dials) or H Moser.

·

I’ve been looking for an old Tag Heuer F1 in that colour to relive my childhood! I loved that watch!!✨☺️

·

There are a few around , I picked this up a few years ago because usually they are on rubber but the bracelet is authentic

A couple of ( younger) friends say it’s too small but they don’t know - this was normal size back in the day !

Great lumed dial !

Some lovely pieces, and a pleasure to look at. You clearly have a type (black and white faces and lots of steel straps) I personally would branch out and have some colour so maybe a farer? But this isn't my collection it's yours so if your looking for something more classical maybe the new REC watch X4009 (has a real piece of spitfire in from the battle of Britain and comes in back, blue and brown dials with silver and nice leather bands for some balance, but complimentary to your style) anyways hope it helps please feel free to ignore. Baltic & brew also do some lovely looking watches which are a bit retro

·

Don't sell any of those Oris watches, they are the JEWELS of your collection! All 3 of them look so clean, elegant, and sophisticated! 😍

Thanks , I may look into those brands , appreciate a splash of colour maybe the way to go next .. not sure if I’m brave enough 😀

The Miles tonneau chronograph was my 40th gift from the wife - so off limits and will never sell - the other two have a few years between them - I should give them more wrist time

Lol I'm the same, there should be a forum for us humble broke asses. Although at this stage I've bought so many cheaper watches I should have just got one expensive one.

Yeah. I agree. I love Seiko’s because they make a very good watch for the price. My favourite is my orange dial GMT. A poor ass section would be good. I’m seeing watches I will never own and feel ok about it. Hell there are some Seiko’s I will never own. The most I have paid is $700 Australian. But I do have a Seiko Excelsior that was $500. I did also get a bargain on a Seiko SRPE53K1 for my son and it’s an underrated watch in my view.
