It certainly is over engineered. That might be one of the greatest achievements and flaws of this piece. I’ve looked at so many examples of vintage defy watches that have been so over polished, there isn’t a sharp edge left on it. It’s not a design for everyone but I can appreciate the case work for sure. I would suggest going hands on with one if you can, it’s much better in person 👍

I’ve tried on both, and the zenith is definitely the more refined choice. Plus a 45 minute chronograph is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

I wear mine with anything and everything. I do wish I had a dressier strap for it, as it’s not as dressy on the bracelet as people think (in my opinion at least) but their straps are very expensive :/
What are your thoughts on this watch? While I didn’t mind the date at 3 and the 1/10th of a second at 9, I’m glad they moved the running seconds down...
