You may have seen this watch in a New York Times article. I went off the beaten path this week and reviewed this eccentric watch with no hands that took the challenge prize at GPHG. It's a fascinating piece, take a look 🤓

Beautiful watch and great review!
Great video Max! Nice to see that watch in detail. The size and wrist presence is a bit awkward, it looks a bit like Ikepod watch.
And again thanks for showing my post at the end ;)

Thanks guys! It's definitely not your everyday three-hander. I've never seen an Ikepod, but the case looks very similar 😁
Thing is Seiko made something very similar decades ago which was called the WN-1 That is why I don't even consider this a new unique design.
I cant see why this watch would win such awards. A movement no one knows the maker. Poor finishing on the plates. They change up the ratio of the gearing which is good but its not promoted from the technical side. Then there is the huge price for such a piece. You really have to want this to hand over a grand for one.
I love the unusual and retro but I don't love this one at all.
Great video! Much more interesting than seeing yet another sub or speedy. Love new designs
Really great stuff. Off the beaten path is always interesting.

Haha, quick detour, back to scheduled Tudor/Omega programming 😂
