DIVERS and Water Resistance! In slim situations…..critical! 🍻

WR is important to some….not all…..as someone who used to dive and snorkel…..I need to know how long I’ve been down and how long I’ve been out. Those times I need to move my bezel to my minute hand….

One time…..I took off my dive watch….first wrong move….took off my fins……second wrong move…..jumped into the ocean to “freshen up,” third wrong move…….

Next thing I know, the tide takes me out away from our boat……I start to swim back and I’m getting farther…..I swim even harder and faster and I’m getting farther…..

Now I realize that as strong as a swimmer I am, young, and in shape…..I’m screwed!

I look at my wrist to see how long I’ve been out and how long I can tread water for, slow down my breathing and heart rate, and conserve energy.

No dive watch on my wrist….OOPS!

Luckily, one of the dive friends came up early and saw me out there, they got the boat and came and got me….but yeah, that was not fun!

I’ll never take off my fins or dive watch again!
