Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
When I was six all my cousins wanted toys but when I saw the sweeping hand on my Dad’s RICOH it’s mesmerizing and my Dad will put the watch on his night table and one night I out the watch close to my ears and heard the most beautiful symphony. That night changed me and I was 6 years old.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I have an Omega Speedmaster Automatic in my Collection. I got the Omega after I sold my Rolex 1655 and Tag Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen. God I don’t know if I can continue telling this story before my eyes start inadvertently releasing 💦. I lost my job 15 years ago. I was devastated. in the blink of an eye our finance is in a free fall. I drove my kids to school every morning and at their tender age they are telling me. “Dad we’re OK.” And as a Father it’s the most comforting message I got and my daughter was 9 and my son was 7 years old. it took a while for me to accept the fact that the job I love. Gone. I have a Rolex 1655 and a Tag Heuer Steve McQueen. that I love but FAMILY FIRST. I sold both watches. And one night I was in my computer looking at watches and didn’t realize that my daughter was behind me quietly and in my computer screen is the picture of the Omega Speedmaster Automatic 3510.50 and she told me Dad “that’s pretty” and I will buy that watch for you one day because you sacrificed the two watches that you love since I was little.” She didn’t know the difference of a 1655 and a Monaco for her. She didn’t forgot the trip that we did to UPS to ship the two watches. The inexpensive Omega Speedmaster Automatic is the one that reminds me that life can change in a heartbeat. I still have the Omega and when it’s time for me to go. I will give it to her to remind her that I’m with her FOREVER.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Be humble.

TUDOR/Rolex 1655
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Rolex 1655 hopefully I’ll find it on eBay or some seller the same Watch. I know the Serial# of my 1655 and if I’m lucky I want to give it to my son. To remind him that I’ll be with him forever.
