BREDA watches…. thoughts?

So my social media has now clocked onto the fact that I’m in this watch cult. As a result, I get the odd watch add on my instagram. The most recent of which has caught my attention for its unique(ish) designs. BREDA. I’m fairly new to the watch world and I’ve never heard of the brand before and assumed it was just another fashion brand, but these two designs really appeal to me (despite being a bit too feminine for my own taste).

Interested to hear you thoughts and, if any, experiences with this brand. Quality, durability, customer service etc.??????

A Little too different for me....

Kind of cool i guess 👍

I would recommend to ignore smart targeted adversiting. If you are new at watch collecting, figure out what you truly like and spend your money wisely!

As for those watches, I like weird things but this is too much for me 😬

Exactly the sort of brand that's being mocked by @benswatchclub with his #spaghettiscameti watch.

No.

Never heard of them. Some unique and innovative designs there. If you are interested in them, I suggest you do a little research. Curious what you find out/decide. Cheers! 👍

So…hilarious that I came across this today…I have a Breda and I just purchased another one today. First one is my Breda and the second is the one I just ordered (on a model)…

My take is simple. Their movements are blah. But you buy them for design. It is not high horology…it is fashion. So, if you’re buying it for a watch you’re passing on to “the next generation”. Nope. If you’re buying it because they are fun and relatively affordable at the $100-200 price point, go for it. I like mine (and I’m sure I’ll like number two)

Cheers dude! What’s the quality/durability of the materials like? Just wondering if it warrants the £100 tag, which seems a little high

The material is solid. I wouldn’t expect much though. The green dial watch is lite. Not like a tank. Strap is pliable and soft. But nothing I think will last forever. At this price point I don’t expect much. If you want durable at this price point, I’d go Gshock or Seiko. But they don’t have the style of this brand. And at the end that’s what this brand sells.

Cheers mate. I was concerned it would be shit 😂
