The Marathon GSAR Artic is a rugged watch that is comfortable to wear and looks proportionate on the wrist. While the Arctic has a diameter of 41mm and a thickness of 14mm, the L2L is a relatively squat 48mm. The watch's thickness is primarily due to the height of the unidirectional bezel. Surrounded by a polished rehaut, the recessed dial doesn't appear as large as one would expect.
With a depth rating of 300 meters, the Arctic is equipped with a Sellita SW 200 movement that has been upgraded to include an Incabloc shock-absorbing system, high-torque pinions, and a steel suspension system.
