Cartier Solar Beat Tank Must

Greetings from Singapore. 
Just wanna share I’m waitlisted for this watch last week. Was told by the AD there are about 20 overs names ahead of me in the queue. 
Guess patience is the way forward.

I have a quick question, so is the solar beats the same as tank must and the only difference is the solar movement, right? Also, I'm not too familiar with the entire tank line, the tank must is a replacement for the old tank solo? Thanks!

Hi Reese,

This new Solar Tank is the newest Tank line. Other than powered by solar cells (with 16 yrs maintenance free usage), the edges of the new Tank is more rounded. Where the previous gen Tank has a flattet edge. 
To me, it’s more aesthetically pleasing.

I’ve also been very confused, but this is my current understanding: there is the regular quartz must that is identical to the SolarBeat, except the SolarBeat has vegan leather strap options (blue and green); quartz has a black leather strap or bracelet option. 

The new color tank musts are also quartz, not SolarBeat. 

I’ve also read that there is no indication on the SolarBeat that it is the SolarBeat model, so you should verify the model number when purchasing. Some folks have had mix ups with ADs having purchased a quartz thinking it was solar.

So i visited one AD the had the small, only one in stock but large is sold out everywhere. SA said she’ll txt me when one comed in. I tried to convince my wife to get the small but she didnt like.. is content with her panthere lol
