My Wife Threatens to Buy Me a Watch!
So, a little background here. My wife and I make lists and discuss big gifts, so we always have some idea of what our big, Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, and Valentine's Day gifts are going to be. Surprises are for smaller gifts, but we play Santa of a sorts fro our big gifts.
She knows about her Valentine's Day gift, which is an Islander #ISL-93, as it is one she asked me to put on my list for her, and she asked for it to be moved to the top after Christmas, since she wants it for the summer.
This morning, she looks at me and says, "You think you're winning Valentine's Day with that watch, but you won't. Maybe I will get you a watch I know you want; the Citizen Rebel Pilot, just to make sure you don't win again." She was referring to Christmas, which I claim she won but she claims I won. She got me a Bulova Hack and a Casio Pac Man, while I got her a 1.5 carat sapphire pendant and an open heart, red dial Starking watch she wanted.
