Thoughts on the Longines Conquest VHP

I‘m a few months out from my next watch purchase and the Longines Conquest VHP has recently entered as a potential option. I hadnt given much thought to (another) quartz watch but this one seems to stand apart from the rest, at least on paper. Does anyone have experience with it? If so, what are your thoughts? Thanks!

I don't have any experience, but I am interested in hearing other's opinions. I seriously considered that model, before deciding to go for a simple ETA powered Marathon Navigator.

Reviews I have read are that the VHP is on the thick side. I still have considered the blue dial version MANY times. 

Longines, at grey market prices, are a no brainer.
