There has been a "gray man" trend for some years now (i.e. wear apparel that blends in instead of being overly flashy or screaming "tactical"). With watch-related crime being such a concern in some places, I see why watch brands/wearers would jump on that bandwagon.

I didn't even think it that way. You could be right. I was just wondering if this is the style for this year as we are allways looking for the "next black"
Not my first pick, but my son really liked that grey Seiko.
Not my first pick, either. But I do think there’s several dials (and bezels, depending on the watch) that would look great, done in the right shade of gray.

I wouldn’t mind. I love gray.
I actually like the look of a grey dial and bezel. I wish Casio would put this color scheme on a Duro.

Another from Sinn. Actually really like the grey tones. Certainly not for every watch, but I think it’s a great option for variety sake

That would look nice in a Duro👌 Pair it with a nice nato (bond) even if it's a bit cliché, but It just looks good on many places!

I agree. I think a grey dial only works if the case is not polished (titanium, blasted or just matt finish looks better with grey).
I think that omega is a very handsome timepiece and I like the grey colour scheme a lot. But I love grey

Nice and clean!
This is my only grey watch.
I’m really interested in this trend. I think it could be more interesting than expected.
