I got the Email

Literally a couple of years ago I put my name on the list for one of these, then a couple of weeks before Christmas I got sent the email saying it was my turn to order the Helm Khuraburi. I had 24 hours to decide if I wanted it or not, yeah why not it’s nearly Christmas😀

Time to choose my spec, black or blue, got too many blues so went for the black. Plain black or orangy bits, I went for orangy bits just to perk things up a little. Crown at 10 or 4, hmm this was harder to decide as I wear on my right hand but plumped for the 4. Date or no date, no date obvs. Order an extra strap too.

Paid the money and all done, they said they would send it by the 24th of December and keep me informed of its status. A few days before Christmas I get home from work and it’s on the doorstep😂 Just glad nobody nicked it.

My first micro brand and first time getting a watch through the post. Felt a bit like a YouTuber with my Swiss Army knife cutting the outer boxes tape. Inside was a nice box, only made of card but nicely finished and textured. It was on the nylon strap, the bracelet safely wrapped in plastic film, a few spare spring bars and a small screw driver to alter the bracelet, nice touch.

I didnt wear it till after Christmas, so was a bit unsure until I put it on if I’d made the right choice and I have to say I love it, will be in my regular rotation. Love the case design, the slightly domed sapphire crystal and sapphire crystal topped bezel is a really lovely touch, something you do see from the pictures. Every thing is chunky but it wears great on the nylon strap, and a nice case back too.

This is one watch I will wear to the beach and go in the sea with, it’s going to be a bit of a beater for sure.

Man, that’s nice. Well-done on the choices. The orange bits complement the watch like a well-hung pair on a Black Stallion.

😂 I guess that’s one way of putting it 🙂
