That's a great color!! At RRP is always a good deal. I purchased a Stainless Steel Sky Dweller to begin a buy history a month before. Got it as a walk in customer so I thought I'd never get these 2 watches as a double allocation. 41mm and 36mm.
Really lucky to get those. I was on "the list" for a coral red, never came in, then Rolex dropped the color. At least we were able to get my wife a 36 yellow OP. ๐
Unless you bought them on the secondary market in 2020. If so, you have actually lost money as the secondary market has significantly cooled. Still worth more than MSRP but it isn't like they were.
Yessir you are correct. Before the release, the watch community hated the colors, especially the Tiffany with many calling it a Gay color. When the Grey market price soared everyone all of a sudden loved them. I just buy what I Love. Paid $5900 & $5600 yup they have more than doubled.

Both pieces were presented to me as a surprise. I purchase both at the same time as a matching set. Prices were crazy at the height of the crypto Pandemic boom.

Oh thereโs no way you would ever sell them , having matching watches is so lovely ๐ฅฐ

Yessir. These OPs are simple and fun. We used them at the beach, vacations, always out playing!!
I did something similar that month, but we got different colors.
They look great. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on a call from my AD for a matching pair for the wife and I...I'll get the "call" when I'm 6' under..

I'm sure you will get the call. What pieces are you requesting a matching allocation?
