The Victorinox Chrono Classic 41mm

This watch has been with me for almost 8 years now and holding steady. It was my first and (so far) only chronograph (unless you count the F-91W's stopwatch function as a chrono!) and I absolutely love it.

I find the dial to be really interesting with that sunburst finished ring that holds the arabic numerals and the circular ridges on the subdials.

Victorinox sold these for around $500 when they first released and I've seen some online for around $350-$400. I get that it's swiss made, has an excellent sapphire crystal and is a chronograph with a fantastic dial but I feel $500 is a bit steep? Maybe I'm crazy but I think $350 would've been a better retail price.

What do you think?

The same watch with a more prestigious name on it would probably retail well over $500.  It’s a great-looking piece, is dependable and you love it, so the value is definitely there.  Why over-analyze it?
