High Dome Sapphire Crystal 👌

Some of you may know me but for those who dont I own/design the microbrands Straton and Signum.

Todays post marks the first time time I have ever used high dome sapphire crystal on a watch before, and man am I happy with the choice. This is the new model from Signum called the Siege, its a “field” type watch design but with Signums twist using unique dial materials. Pictured here is the blue copper turquoise mineral dial, it will also come with 5 other dials choices including heat meteorite as well as a full lume dial. And for those who know we do not skimp on lume as my aim for this model was to give the Cuda Lume King a run for its money on the next Lume Wars.

The Siege is a bead blasted 40mm case with scratch and hardening coating, 48mm lug to lug with 20mm lug width. Just 10.5mm thin incl. the crystal, screw down crown, lumed chapter ring and powered by a 9015 Miyota movement with custom lumed date disc at 6. The watches will be paired with either a military green or navy blue canvas strap with quick release pins.

These will launch in about a months time, starting from $499 upwards depending on the dial choice, no long pre-order wait as watches will be shipping in around 2-3 weeks after launching.

Happy to hear your thoughts, initially I was totally enthusiastic about it when I designed the watch in render form but now seeing them live I am really glad I gave the design the go ahead, its not for everyone but for those who like it I am sure will love it just like I do.
