Christmas present Seiko SKX007 upgrade to NH36 movement
Hi all I haven’t been at the bench lately been busy travelling and had to pack up my watch room as my son has moved back home for a few months.
I got a NH36a movement from Namoki for Christmas so I just swapped out the original movement on my kitchen table this afternoon. Also went with the aftermarket red signed crown which has a double seal.
Six months ago I serviced the original movement, you can see that posting if you are interested but found it had excessive wear in the barrel arbor bushes so decided to do a movement upgrade for Christmas, now hacks and hand winds.
Fun little job and when placed on the timegrapher found it didn’t need regulating but will run it for a few weeks and recheck.
