A beautiful Sinn U50 in the house

If you refer back to my first-ever post on WatchCrunch, I expressed an ardent desire to get a U50. I had initially ordered it online, with a pickup (from the Frankfurt store) expected in May 2023. However, although a layover at Frankfurt Airport materialized twice, I could never enter the city. I got in touch with an authorized dealer in Nepal, Swiss Time Pieces, and requested its kind owner, Mr. Ankur, to order the U50 for me. The watch made its way to Nepal in March and into my lucky hands yesterday. I am absolutely enamored by how it looks and feels. Even the best videography and photography on WatchCrunch, YouTube, and elsewhere on the internet do not do justice to how beautiful and amazing U50 looks and feels. The Tegimented Submarine Steel possesses a distinct hue, and the matte brushed finish exudes premium like nothing else. This is the first time I have seen a Sinn in all its glory, and I love it. This will be a keeper forever. Only to be passed on to my brother or my future son or daughter. I know for a fact that my fiance does not fancy it😅. Anyway, I absolutely love it. Cheers.

Sinn is a great brand. Congrats on your U50. I own a 104 and love it. I was born and raised close to Frankfurt. Never made it to Sinn HQ so far 😁

Now that is what we call 'going round the houses' to get a watch, well done for your efforts and thinking. It's definitely a great watch and a keeper👍👍👍 ( do they have any Rolex's in stock in Nepal, if so let the world know 😉)

Beautiful watch. I’m in market for the SDR version with black bezel. It’s a watch that seems a unique alternative to all the other diver watches out there. It looks much more unique and modern to me, and the U50 size seems pretty perfect (definitely compared with the original U1). I own a 556i and it’s by far my favorite watch in collection and Sinn is amazing.

Thanks a lot. I love the 104. One of the top three Sinn watches for me. I'll may be be pick up the 104 from the Frankfurt HQ store someday. 😊

Thanks a tonne. It was surely an interesting journey to this watch's acquisition.

I am not sure of the Rolex situation in Nepal. I am from India. The AD I reached out to does not deal in Rolex.

Thanks.

Sinn 556 is another example of a watch that looks exceptionally beautiful in person. Pictures don't do justice.

Ohh absolutely. I wanted to get the classic U50. SDR is beyond amazing too. I saw a WTS post on r/Watches subreddit for a SDR. See if it is still available.
