My last watch purchase of 2023. I promise!
This completes a set of ten watches bought in 2023. Eight of them for my collection, and one each for my mother and brother.
Earlier in the year, after two consecutive Sinns, I thought I will lay low for the rest of the year. However, late in 2023, I fell prey to Casio's lure of relatively inexpensive pricing and incredible value in the case of almost all their watches. One A158, one AE1200, one G-Shock 2100, and now a G-Shock 5600 series watch later, I have resolved that I will be more conservative in 2024. Although there are quite a few $700-1200 watches in my wishlist in addition to my grails (Omega Aqua Terra "Summer Blue" and Grand Seiko SBGE285), I will acquire them slowly and keep the grail purchases reserved for big career achievements.
