Casio F-28W Review

This is in my opinion the ultimate cheap Casio.

By August 2021, I came across this one online. I was hooked. I spent weeks trying to get reviews of it, but there were quite few actually and only 1 video on youtube at the time.

When I had saved up, I went to ebay and got myself one in really good condition. Oddly enough, it arrived a day later from Rome, Italy. I WAS SHOCKED!

When I opened it up, I was hooked, and couldn't stop looking at it. My main issue, how to set the time... It has 2 buttons, and I know how easy it is now, but back in October 2021, I used 1 hour to figure it out.

It was really easy. Press select, and seconds start flashing, then Hours, minutes, month, date and day. Push select again and it's set. To change from 18 to 19 hours, use the set button, and you can change more etc.

When the initial setup was done, I could just leave it. The display shows EVERYTHING it has.

No alarm, no light, no stopwatch function, just time and date showing.

Is it WR as it claims? No, not really. It has a plaatic press on back, so get it wet and you may have destroyed it completely.

It's module is 1156, and a solid long living one. The weight is just like a feather, so you don't notice it on ya at all

Do you need more in a watch? No, not really. Could a light be smart? Yes, but at the time it came out, there was no light so this is what ya get. It's also pretty much accurate that it's only ± 3-5 seconds a month. And the battery will last almodt forever, due to you maybe 2 times a year have to change to DST or from it haha.
