Restored and serviced Certina waterking from 1965.

I inherited this from my grandma, who got it from her aunt, as grandmas uncle Jon died wearing it somewhere between late 1980s and early 1990s. This watch has had 5 services (including repairs) since 1965 till now, I just got it serviced for 6th time, and fixed last week and got it back today ๐Ÿ˜„

I loved this one as a child, it actually is THE watch that made me interested in them. I mean, some of my fondest memories are of me listening to it tick for hours on end.

I have never seen it as pretty as it is now, as I have only seen it with a beat up and cloudy glass, but I can openly and proudly say that it looks far better than I imagined!

I have provided images of how it looked before my latest service, and how amazing it turned out.

This is gorgeous. I love the finish. With that history, I'd consider that my most valuable watch.
