Im looking to buy my first mechanical watch for not a whole lot of money, I was wondering what y'all thought about this. It's an automatic with mineral glass dome.

The movement is essentially the same as a Seiko 7S26, which was used on Seiko 5 models up until a few years ago. There is no hand winding. The accuracy rating is +/-45sec/day but usually much better.
42mm is large. Anyway, Lorus is basically a diffusion brand of Seiko, so expect it to be very similar.

Lorus are decent. Made by Seiko. I sell them cheaper though.
I like the design, it's a decent make but too big for my taste.
I have the Lorus RL463AX9 Pilot Style Watch and enjoy it very much. Good, solid, entry level automatic watch. Somewhat similar to the one in your picture, but with a bit of quirky flair.

Well this is Finnish prices here. I could look from Sweden as well but I don't know where to start looking for the same model but cheaper.
