Multiple Re-Buys or Buy Backs?

SO glad Glycine finally made this watch and I jumped on one as soon as I could. This is a TRB (Technical Re-Buy).

I used to own the previous version of this, reference GL0251. I sort of as stupidly sold it. Some time later, I got the latest version with upgraded sapphire crystal and 30m WR in 4-handed GMT version, reference GL0303. It was the only new version of "The Chief" at the time.

BUT, I always personally felt that the Airman is best and truest, or "Purist", in.. well.. the "Purist" version, where the hour hand makes 1 complete revolution per day, making full use of the 24-hour dial layout which it was originally designed for. So, I sold it.

And, exactly just when I did, Glycine announced and showed their new "Purist" versions of "The Chief" Airmans, one of which included this very model, reference GL0412.

So, now I finally have the version of this watch I most wanted. It's definitely going to be a keeper this time.

I love the Airman series. On my quest to find THE perfect one for myself, I believe I went through a total of 6 Airmans before I landed on this one as number 7.

Have you gone through multiple of essential the same watch models to find the perfect version (not necessarily a Glycine Airman)? Or, maybe just keep coming back to a particular model line for one reason or another?

Unfortunately, I did that.  I went through 3 different Speedmasters, before finally deciding that chronographs just aren't my thing!
