(Essentially) One model with many faces

What I like about Baltic's Aquascaphe line is there are distinctive variants between the submodels. They vary in dial design and case configurations.. not just a simple change of color, change of case materials, The original Aquascaphe has one look, the super compressor STYLE has another look, the Titanium has its own, the GMT yet another..And, as my own example here, the Aquascaphe in Bronze, it has it's own case and dial design specific to the (2) Bronze versions.

At what I feel is a price friendly level, it strikes a mix of an Oris 65 Carl Brashear Bronze and Tudor Black Bay Blue with Baltic's own design language at the same time.

I get a cool old world dive equipment vibe, especially when I pair it with a rustic brown leather strap. I'm fine with no lume on the bezel as it leaves the bezel clean to frame the character rich domed sapphire bezel like a porthole. Unique to the bronze Aquascaphe, it has a12-3-6-9 dial layout . Something about the font style makes the 3, 6 & 9 look particularly good to my eyes.

I enjoy pairing this with an Erika's Original MN Strap. This one is the Trident with Sand center stripe and Light Brown accent color with CuSn8 Bronze hardware. It is a different bronze alloy to the watch. But, it is close enough for me.. closer than if it were in stainless steel.

Finally got to play with these a week back. Looks good on the wrist and very solid watch for the price point. Love seeing how you mixed it up with different straps.

I basically have 3 strap options. The stock navy tropic, this Erika's Original MN Strap, and a vintage brown leather strap by Fluco.. I replaced the stainless steel buckle with an extra Baltic Bronze buckle I purchased. On any strap option, the hardware must match the case material and/or finish. All 3 are good options that give a completely different look. I don't think they make them anymore, but, I had imagined getting a mesh bracelet in antique gold/brass finish (which may have been closest metal strap to look like this type of bronze when patina'd) would have look pretty nice, too, to finish off a complete strap rotation set.
