What is in the watch roll?
Headed back to the Bay Area like last time to help my mom recover from surgery, specifically the “don’t lift stuff” restrictions that last a week.
Bringing the same watches as last time plus one.
SARB017 - This has been my casual watch as of late. I guess dive watch season is over for me and I’m entering Alpinist season.
Timex Galli S1 38 - I really like this as a travel watch. No screw down crown so I can easily change the time zone.
Vostok Komandirskie - this was the watch I found at my mom’s house the last time at long last. So this watch is making its first East to West trip. No quick date change may mean all I do with this watch is to play show and tell with my mom. The next time I go to Hong Kong to visit the aunt who originally bought this piece, I may have to wear this for real.
Off to pack.
