The most surprising acquisitions of the year for me!
I knew the #TudorBlackBay Heritage was coming. I have been surprised at how overwhelmingly good it is in my collection. Couldn't have asked for a better piece to mark my 40th.
The #TudorChronograph was completely unexpected. My AD @jewelerstrade made it happen for me on very short notice and it is utterly remarkable.
The #TudorPelagos FXD Black was not only the most surprising release of the year overall in the watch world, but also the most surprising watch to attract my attention. I would never have guess this watch would even be a blip on my radar. It stuck such a chord that it joined my collection a day after release and is on my wrist more than almost any other. My #RolexSkydweller ....never, ever, ever, in my wildest dreams did I expect to get that call from @morganjern_ I had to call her back to confirm, and it is the closest I have ever come to fainting or falling out of a chair....still surprised it is mine every single morning. Can't wait to watch the month flip for the first time and we jump into a new year.

Nice selection of watches! Personally I like all these designs (although they are not all for me) and I really like the balance of dials and complications. And nice NDC strap on the Pelagos.

Congrats on our joint 40th last year! I couldn’t agree more with your pelagos fxd comments. Didn’t have it on my radar until I saw it in show, tried it on a absolutely fell in love with it. When I’m not at work, wearing a suit, this piece gets more wrist time than any other. May I suggest you try putting it on a Erika’s original strap? Gives it just a bit more elegance with a similar look as the original strap and is infinitely more comfortable.

I have been considering that. I love the OEM strap but don't want it to wear out. The vectoncouid get nappy. I have it on an WOE that I love. I'll look at the Erica's Original too. That could be great! Thanks. And Happy 40th!
