Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A small black quartz watch with Donald Duck pointing at the hours and minutes. I was in the first grade.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you love and enjoy wearing, but also know that your tastes will evolve over time. Have fun with it!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I’ve always loved the IWC Portuguese. The JLC Master Ultra Thin Moonphase is beautiful. And I will own an Omega Speedmaster one day.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Modern: Pepsi GMT (recently acquired!). One watch to do it all. Vintage: Explorer 1016. Epitome of simplicity and clarity. The platonic ideal of a wristwatch.
