One of my good mates is Head of Zeitwerk at Lange u. Söhne.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
No idea from when I was young but in adulthood, a mechanical skeleton Yves Camani watch.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Yves Camani watch is technically quite a rubbish watch but my friend did change some screws for Omega screws and the strap for a Blancpan one, so it's got extras worth more than the actual watch. Then I wore it for my wedding, so it's immortal now!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Allow yourself to make mistakes because you learn more about your taste that way.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Grand Seiko only nowadays. Proper fan boy.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Grand Seiko Omiwatari (or other dials with that case) because it's under the radar but technically amazing.
