Saying goodbye..

Like many of us, I am trying to narrow down my collection. Part of that is letting go of pieces you love.

This day date 18038 ref was my watch of last summer. I called it the affordable grail because it was cheaper in solid gold than some steel references. It kept great time too!

But, I’m trying to focus on more humble pieces I enjoy just as much. So it’s gone to a new home!

Hopefully it wont turn in to a regret.

Who else is selling this new year?

No divorces this year. Might marry another. Lol JK

I still have 5 slots left. Hopefully that's all I need. Their for more of the harder to find (grail) watches. I'm in my 60s so they'll be special.

I understand why you moved one along. If you were able to let it go it was meant to happen.

Enjoy those watches!

Cheers!

Dude, you should have told me - I could have been interested:)

I actually just posted on the topic (where do you sell you watches).

If you sell if for the right reason you will not regret it…and looking at your new Patek, I am sure you will have plenty of new friends to compensate for your loss :)

Yes that Patek was half the price of the Rolex and a bit less of a liability on the wrist I think!

I suppose the buying and selling is part of the fun of it!
