I just purchased their latest C60 Trident, I ordered a white dial version and what was received was one with a Black dial, this is OK but when one spends over 1K USD, one expects to get the correct order. They will not even give me a discount which does not matter to me. What matters is that after I bought this watch, I can't even post in their forum until I get 5  posts that are approved by their Admin.

Some member here complained about Islander Watches. Well Marc answers his emails, and I never have gotten a wrong order. Marc & The Urban Gentry guy are two of the best on YouTube. URB is a very smart dude and know a hell of alot about many things and not just watches, anyone that does not think so is just ignorant of the facts or plain Stupid!

I would argue that people who spend $1 should also get what they ordered. I certainly hope they offered to correct the error.

They likely offered to have you ship the wrong watch back at their expense, and they'll send the correct one. 

CW doesn't run a forum, they participate in the forum, but don't own or run it. If you had spoken to the company, or the forum administrator about it they would have explained that to you.

I cannot speak to your experience with CW, but I agree with what you stated about TGV and Marc. I have always had good experiences with Long Island Watch and with Islander watches.

I bought a watch for my wife, the #ISL-93, which then went on sale a few days later. I emailed LIW, and they refunded the difference to me with no questions or problems at all. Great customer service at LIW!

That’s a bummer for sure. Are they replacing the watch to be the one you ordered? I hope they resolve this for you. I’d be pretty angry.
