Is this considered ugly and if so why?
So recently I purchased this casio W 800h, my F91W felt tiny on my small wrist and buying a friend one as an xmas present, made me strongly look into them. But upon looking up reviews I found channels like just one more watch, described it as ugly. Personally I don't see how its any worse/better looking than any other Casio. What's your thoughts on it?, were there better options or did I pick well?.

It's unusual indeed, not really my style but definitively not ugly. If I had to choose this one over i.e a hublot, then I'd definitively choose the casio you have.

There's no such thing as an ugly watch. There are unusual watches, and watches that aren't to your taste, but no such thing as an ugly watch. If you like it wear it with pride
It's absolutely NOT ugly, except the fact it's rather fat and easy get ugly scratches...
The bigger smarter display make it actually look better than any other moderna digital Casio...
Even if my very rare version, with golden or sunny display and some goledn details, look even finer!
