My wind up watch wont move when the crown is pushed in.
So recently I took it upon myself to paint the face and put the watch movement back in, but now despite the winder being in good condition, as soon as I push the crown in, it stops working and refuses to move however much I wind it but it will move when adjusting the hands, does anyone here know what's going on and how to fix it?.

Could be a bent pivot or broken jewel. Did you check to see that the gear train was spinning freely when you reassembled the movement?
