I have the Watch Accuracy app and Watch Check. Both are free. I think the Watch Accuracy app works pretty well, and it'll give you the info then and there. The Watch Check app has you make your time measurements to compare with the GPS and NTP time. After several checks (once a day), you'll get a reading of how many seconds a day it loses or gains.

Try checking out Bernhardt Watch company. I have a blue Corsair model with a miyota 9015 movt. I think it's a beautiful blue. It's a very sturdy dive style with great specs. Plus it's made in the USA.

I would wait. We're into the holiday season and there's always delays occuring during this period.

I'm always checking the watches. Not only in movies, but also everyday on people's wrists to see if I can identify the watch.

IMHO wearing a replica watch is pretty dangerous. As pointed out in other replies, they are illegal and owning them can create some real legal problems if found out. But, these are inherited from loved ones, so maybe keeping them, but not wearing them will help with         maintaining the memories they provide. Tough decision to make for sure. Good luck.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's not two toned. And amazingly, there hasn't been any fading of the gold plating. Definitely a well built watch with good QC.  And the second hand hits the indices perfectly, which is a real problem nowadays with Seiko.

You're not alone. Just remember, 36" was the norm back in the 60s and 70s. As far as I am concerned, 36" is just fine. I have a few vintage watches that are 36", and I love them.
