The most comfortable strap

I just want to share my like for the elastic Marine Nationale style straps. NATO-straps never suited me, too bulky. I have slim wrists (6,25 inch) so bulk is a big factor. MN straps are single pass and easy to adjust, and no fold over. But most are a bit too long for my wrists (the buckle gets too close to the watch case, which I don't either!), so I shorten them 3-4 cm and then sew the hook back again with needle and thread. It works great! The watch in the photo is the Islander SKX013-homage.

I started with an elastic on my Islander Mitchel, but ended up going to a Zulu strap (think short single-pass NATO without the foldover tail) as the MN-style strap kept loosening up on me.

Yes, the loosening is an issue! I have seen some MN that have solved this but can't remember where Might have to try on a zulu as well!
