Put myself on the list — milestone watch

So I’ve been thinking about the green GMT for a while. Won’t get into why I like it, here, but I like it. I went into the store to drop off a different watch for warranty repair. While I was there I hit it off with the nice woman who was helping me and asked her to show me this watch. She’s a real watch fan, and she could tell that I was too. We talked about different watches and Rolex history, and I told her that I’m waiting to hear back from a literary agent about my first novel (wish me luck) and how this watch would commemorate what will hopefully be good news and maybe the timing would work out in both respects. But I thought it was important that she knows that this watch is intended as a milestone, and I’m not someone with 100 Daytonas in a vault somewhere.

The way she was talking made me feel pretty good about things, that she’s all about developing relationships with clients so that in the future I go straight to her when I want something. I think she’s very interested in finding me a watch, but I assume can only do so much. She said something about “Rolex needing to approve” the allocation. Not sure what that means, but my interaction with her was excellent.

Hopefully both the book and the allocation work out! Wish me luck Watchcrunchers! (Even if the agent doesn’t give me good news, if she gets me the GMT I’ll probably take it anyway hahaha. How could I not!?)

(PS: my hobby is photography, my latest photo is the third photo in this post. If you want to follow me my IG is only photography. @iadamsenior )

Thanks!

All the best with your novel and the watch. The 3rd photo looks stunning, but where is the watch?🧐

Don’t understand the question. The first two photos? The watch is in the display case at the AD lol

As a published author, I know that writing a book is like giving birth! ALL THE BEST TO YOU, SIR! And good luck with that Rolex as well. 😎👍
