What about wall clocks?

Been thinking of adding a wall clock to the living room lately. While we would love a full size grandfather clock, thats just not in the budget anytime soon. But we are going for a classic wall clock look with a pendulum. I found a few on amazon, but other than Bulova, I didn't recogniz any of the brands. Any recommendations on a brand or model to check out?

I know seiko has a few models, but perhaps going vintage may be an option. A wall mounted flip clock would be cool!

Thanks for the heads up on the Seiko's. After digging I found some classic looking ones with a pendulum. Look like its gonna be between some Bulova's and a Seiko. Problem is the specific Seiko model we are looking at is out of stock most places. Other option is to go used, but a little hesitant there. We'll see... Either way, appreciate the rec!

I tend to be cautious about used as well. I saw recently a set of Casio Edifice watches for $40 and it is tempting, but it was a goodwill auction so I am hesitant.

I don't know if any of the new "pendulum" clocks are real mechanical pendulum clocks.  I was thinking about getting one and I found if you go on eBay and search "31 day clock" you'll see a bunch of vintage real pendulum clocks.  I guess typically the mechanisms in these clocks would run for 31 days when fully wound, so I think that was popular up until the 70's when everything converted over to cheap quartz mechanisms in clocks.   There are a lot made by Hamilton which was what I was looking to get.  Something like this.

Ah, that's good to know.  My wife has a couple old Hamilton watches she got handed down to her that she really likes.  We'll look for some of these as well.  Thank you!
