Watches in movies: Jackie Brown
Tarantino’s ode to 70s cinema Jackie Brown has Samuel Jackson at this best.
Robert Deniro also makes an appearance with a smaller role that doesn’t play to his strengths, but remains interesting.
Jackson sports a two tone sports watch that I can’t ID. Appears to be a Cartier or perhaps a Seiko/Credor of some sort.
Any guess on what model it is?
He also wears a thick Cuban style gold bracelet and gold pinky ring on his right hand, a style I’ve been embracing as well.
Overall a good movie although the pacing was a bit slow at times and I was expecting a bigger climax.

I remember buying this movie after watching reservoir dogs and pulp fiction. It was good but not great. Maybe the watch is what is in the briefcase in pulp fiction 😜. Jokes aside maybe it’s a Rolex date just two tone?
