Gold oyster quartz to satisfy 222 lust?

Interestingly, despite the relative unpopularity of yellow gold and small watches, the VC 222 is a trending must have watch among those who can pay to play.

However for my hard earned coin, I’d prefer a gold OQ which gets me 90% of the way there for a fraction of the price.

Instead of a doubling down of branding logo on the bottom right lug, you can get a beautiful “Egyptian” version of the OQ.

Is anyone else with me?
