I was big into Swatch when I was young. So many fun designs, not that expensive, easy to find. wish I still had that collection.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I honestly cannot remember. it was probably a Casio calculator watch. it could have just as easily been a Swatch.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
no real exciting stories. some are gifts, a couple are finds, some are impulse. I still have my 8th grade graduation gift watch, as well as my high school graduation watch. Both still work; both are still in my regular rotation
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Look around! There are a lot out there. Like a lot. It’s not just “Swiss Made” and Rolex. And “quartz” is NOT a bad word!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I’ve been looking at some vintage LONGINES timepieces. Have no idea how or why that started.
