Like the watch, do not know the brand…do you?

I have been eyeing this Magrette Moana Pacific Professional Titanium (Black) for a while now. I think it looks absolutely great, and it comes with impressive specs: titanium case and ceramic bezel, 500m WR, powered by a Sellita SW-200, at quite a modest price of USD 846,-

But I don’t know the brand…i can ofc look up they operate out Auckland, New Zealand; they’ve been around for a while now and have received positive feedback from ABlogToWatch, Worn&Wound and Watchreport. But there’s not that much out there to base a buying decision on.

So all of you WC-ers, do you know the brand / have owned or worn it / have any advice to offer?

I owned one a few years ago. Great looking and very well made. Just a tad too big/chunky for me. Titanium wasn't available then.

Thanks! It is indeed a chunky watch - largest watch I now own is a 42mm (the Magrette is 44mm), but the 42mm is a dress watch; so I think i'd be able to pull of the Magrette.

What's your wrist size if I may ask?

7 1/4

And I had a 42mm version.

The cushion case makes it wear a bit larger given the extra "real estate" on the corners

Hmmmm...my wrist is a tad smaller than yours & i see your point about the cushion taking up additional space...think I'll go and check whether i can find a watch with similar dimensions to try on IRL. Cushion shaped diver makes that a bit harder though :)
