Thanks to Justin's post (HERE), I found out that Maximilian Büsser & Friends (MB&F) not only create quite original (and expensive) timepieces - excusez-le mot: machines - but also do robots! Now it happens that besides watches, I also collect robots (by a specific maker, see samples below):
So far, other robots could not really catch my fancy, but on finding out MB&F's ones, and especially the watch bearing one, I could not resist an impulse buy:
Very curious about real life looks and usability! Should be a week or so before it gets here from Switzerland. I'm very excited, will post on arrival 😀
(currently, Dorislacio is on watch duty):

That shark is really good looking, I'd like to see a bear too
I see the ones that plastic paddy Nico has on his channel & it’s made of old junk electrical connectors etc. The MB&F version looks slightly better but not much. I see some audio parts in that concoction.
I think they’re creative, making something resemble a robot from old scrap, but what do I know? I guess Ill just have to like that you like them 😉

Haha, indeed :) I feel the same way about snowflake hands - and cappuccino. Do not get the appeal at all, but happy they make a lot of other people happy!
Here’s mine!
Here’s mine!
Hey, cool!! You actually use it, or is it more decorative?
