Since I did have some sort of collection before, so might as well start this fun and deadly hobby
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Casio G-Shock, full on yellow with blue accents, it's a limited edition if I recall, the GA-1100 I think. It's huge to say the least.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
All watches I own have stories
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Choose a watch that suits you, whether it's your lifestyle or personality or both.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Lately it would be Casio, Seiko, Orient and Citizen, and even Glycine, for their Combat Subs. Mainly in the budget range, perhaps throwing in like a Boldr for their meaty field watches or Bertucchi.
If it's luxury: Omega and Tudor have given quite a fair lot of interest lately, love the Seamaster NTTD 007 and Black Bay 58.
In terms of microbrands: Zelos and CW are gorgeous, love the designs of the Zelos' divers and as well as CW.
My interest for certain brands will grow as I up a tier for myself, who knows, I might get one of the watches from said brands here.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My end game watch is a little complicated: specifically speaking - Tudor Black Bay 58 black, Omega Seamaster NTTD 007 or a CW. Anything can be the Holy Grail Watch, for me it's complicated. I'll see to it once I reach somewhere.
