Used to collect cheap and weird digital watches when I was young. Now I've moved on to mechanical watches. I also like modding them, especially the cheap ones!
First watch I ever owned was given to me by my grandpa for Christmas when I was probably 8 (a long time ago). I don't remember a ton about it, but it was Popeye the Sailor. Wore it all the time. First serious watch was bought a couple years ago, Longines Grande Vitesse chronograph. Bought that in 2021 after getting my second COVID vaccine to celebrate the end of the pandemic. Jumped the gun on that one a little bit, especially since I caught it about a year later, lol!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't spend more than you can afford, buy what you like, don't worry about what anyone else thinks, and don't go crazy and try to buy everything all at once. Take your time to learn what size you like to wear and the style you like.
