Okay, I'll bite. Here's my choice: The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition.
The lume is out of this world! I mean... lumed markings on the bezel!!! For when you shine your black light on it, and then step into the closet and pretend you're infiltrating Dr. Evil's underwater lair
It's got 300M water resistance, so you can safely... wash dishes with it on
Titanium, so it's nice and light, which helps in life and death situations - for example, quickly lifting and pouring out equal portions of "flavor blasted" cheddar Pepperidge Farm Goldfish for each screaming child
It's got "007" engraved on the case back! You know... James Bond. Pew! Pew!

I’ve been thinking a lot about this since last night. It’s a hard question to answer. I’d have to ask myself “which watch would make me happy wearing every day“ and “which watch would I be comfortable wearing in different occasions?” If it’s a watch I don’t have, I‘d have to say my grail watch, the Submariner 124060, but if it’s a watch I do have, my Seiko “Save the Ocean“ Samurai.
Dude, that Seiko is awesome! The more I've gotten into this hobby, the more I've come to appreciate Seiko!
Thanks dude, it’s much appreciated. I got it about three years ago for about $300 (on sale). It’s held up really well. For the money I spent, it’s given me A LOT of value.
The premise is bothersome to me and gives me agita just thinking about it.
One watch for the rest of time??
I hear you. It’s just a hypothetical question. The idea of one watch forever is mind- blowing to some people, but I’d also argue that some people may con it since watches are so expensive.
Patek 5164A for me. It would be a thrill to own something with that much brand prestige, but still a ‘sports watch’ on a rubber strap that is thin and has one of the best complications with the travel time gmt hand and pushers.
I’d probably go with my Casio duro it’s super tough looks great in almost every situation so for a quartz that for an automatic or regular mechanical I’d go with my diy watch club pilot F01 it’s very versatile comfortable with the leather band and looks and works very well at work or any other situation

Awesome! I can’t disagree with you!

Hopefully I never have to choose just one though!
If you were a one watch person, you'd likely already know it by being oblivious to it.
