Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I love art and tech in general. So knowing that there are timepieces which represent both, it was obvious.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
It was a Sonata SF 7930PP01, during my middle school.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
It's the story behind every watch that fascinates me the most. There is this Casio Enticer, MTD-330D, in my collection which got involved in a bike accident with me. Had to replace the glass but kept the case and bracelet as-is. Because now the scratches tell the story and I have scars to match them. I call it my Casio Crash!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Although quality matters, if you love a piece go for it. Don't worry much about the brand value.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Enicar, Ricoh, Seiko
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Moonwatch, obviously for it's history.
