Boderry BDA002T...

Has a titanium cased, hi-beat movement with a 72hr power reserve Hangzhou 7200. Hopefully we'll see more watches using this movement at some point.

Here's the link to the watch and my review.

That’s a pretty decent movement on paper. I wonder what it’s based off?

It also strikes a nerve in me because for ages I wanted a particular Tissot. Then they decided 80 hours power was better than a high beat rate. Which, sorry, I’d rather a smoother seconds hand. Point being, they make you choose. Beat rate or power reserve. Yet here’s a Chinese movement telling me I can have my cake and eat it too.

I'm with you there, if you've got to choice between the two. But as you said... With this Chinese movement you don't have to choose.

I've got this with the "white" dial which actually is silver. Would be stunning in white and looking to mod mine soon with some paint. Gorgeous and accurate movement. Definitely best of both worlds. Quality strap and hard to knock any points off at this price point. A lot of their other watches contain miyota 8000 series movements and in my opinion don't carry as much value as these hangzhou movements do.

Yeah these movements are pretty sweet. As you say, best of both.
