what platform is the best place to sell watches?

I am a watch collector and I would say I have an addiction. I have 38 watches in my collection and it is steadily growing.

I sell on eBay, its okay I guess
One platform for all? eBay is the do it all, but not great at any one thing.
Anything over $1000? Chrono24 or Watchfinder.
Below $500? FB or local classified ad type places
Join various fora. Interact and get the required post count to sell there. If they are shown on Watchrecon you will get many looks.
Avoid ebay if you can.
You can get data off watchcharts.com, it gathers data from other sites from reddit to ebay. It shows which platform specific watch models sales have been generated from.
Selling on chrono24 I think takes 5%. I think using Paypal to echrow the money can be done using FB or reddit. Ebay may try levying federal/local state taxes on you. There are also duty issues/holds when sending products out of country which cause some buyers to raise issues upon delivery.
Obviously the safest is doing a local exchange, based on your locaction, the marketplace should be strong enough to do it.
Online has alot of scams, so remember to video everything, detailed watch video, packing, sealing and delivery to post office. The scammers will dispute eveything so having video evidence is the most important thing in a dispute case.
